This is the house I've designed with Kakrah Hayford, an architect who studied in the United States and who now lives in Ghana. Construction began in 1996 and was completed in June, 1999. The house is in East Legon, a suburb of Accra, and is about five miles from the Accra airport.   Seven bedrooms, seven baths, granite and marble floors, all African woods.   Yes, I hope to retire to this house.
