She is the best in the world! She teaches me scales, chords and classical songs like Wild Rider by Robert Schumann or Evening by Diabelli or Lullaby and Beauty and the Beast. The first lesson she taught me was Do-ra-mi-fa-so-la-te-doooo as in

It seems really simple, but look at this!

The Morning I Awoke the Fun Began!

I awoke one morning thinking it would be just a regular day but I remembered it was the kickoff party! I was so excited I could hardly breathe. It was today!

I quickly got out of bed. I slept late. When I looked at the clock it said 11:00 o'clock in the morning. I slipped on my slippers. I opened my drawer quickly and put my clothes on. My mother was calling me. She was so worried. I ran downstairs. My mother told me I was a mess. My mom said the party was in two hours. I was sick! Ha! I quickly brushed my hair. I jumped into the bathtub, put my clothes on again. By now I was exhausted but then I was ready.

My mom and I started cooking. I said to myself: What a good time to start the day. My mom had almost everything done in a flash! My luck she didn't do the hardest one yet! And I was right she didn't have it done yet so she put the ingredients in: peppers, onions, tomatoes, salt, pepper, broccoli, garlic, noodles, beans, beef, carrots, potatoes. Then you have to stir until it boils. I looked at the clock. 50 minutes until the party started and we have to be there early. Finally it boiled. My mom let it cool down then packed everything. We were two minutes late not for regular time. Then slowly kids started coming. It started getting funner, funner. After a while I didn't even know my parents were there! Yup you probably didn't believe me. Ha!

Still, the best is to come, "ice cream." Then about 50 minutes went by. Still no ice cream! Then 20 minutes went by and the ice cream was there! I had to say to myself this was the best time of my life!

It was almost dark when Sally came home from her friend's house. When Sally went into the house her mother said, "Where have you been, Sally dear?"

Sally said, "Well, I snuck into my friend's house and stayed until now."

"Sally," said her mother firmly, "Why did you do such a thing? For your punishment you will sleep in the garage."

Sally was very happy because she knew that in the garage there were some real space pictures. It was finally bedtime. Sally went upstairs to brush her teeth. When Sally came down she had her pillow, her sleeping bag, her flashlight and her teddy bear. She kissed her parents good night. Then she went into the garage to sleep. As Sally put her head on her pillow she felt she was being lifted up into the sky. Suddenly a voice woke her up. It said, "I am the sun and I control the planets and many other things in space. Let me introduce the planets. The first planet is Mercury. Mercury is my neighbor. The second planet is Venus. The third planet is Earth. The fourth planet is Mars. The fifth planet is Jupiter. The sixth planet is Saturn. The seventh planet is Uranus. The eighth planet is Neptune. The ninth planet is Pluto." The sun said, "Good bye and we should meet again."

The Waterfall in the Smoky Mountains

Today Grandpa, Grandma, daddy, mommy, Kristina and I went hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Grandma couldn't come on the hike so she stayed by the car and rested.

Grandpa, daddy, mommy, Kristina and I hiked up the mountain to the waterfall in the Smoky's. Along the way, we noticed that it was not very crowded!

When we reached the waterfall Kristina and I put on our bathing suits and splashed into the pool of water made by the waterfall. After daddy, Kristina and I got used to the ice cold water we went to the deeper part of the waterfall. It was so deep in the middle I couldn't even stand!

Next daddy took Kristina and I across to the pool of water. When we reached the other side of the pool the rock daddy let us out on was slippery. It was so slippery I almost fell! Then daddy went under the waterfall. When daddy came out from under the waterfall I wanted to do it too. So daddy and I went under the waterfall. It was cold! After that we climbed these rocks that brought us back to the shallow water. Then we got back into our clothes and we started down the mountain! On the way down, I found a lizard.

The coral reef is known to many fish. The fish we will be talking about today are the lion fish, the angelfish, the clownfish, and the carpet shark. The lion fish lives in crevasses in the coral. They also have poisonous spines, so if you ever go near one WATCH OUT!

The angelfish lives in underwater caves. The angelfish is called an angel because it looks like an angel.

Some people thought that clownfish were poisonous but they aren't at all!

The carpet shark looks like a carpet so it can blend in with the sea floor.

So we learned about them and more on the coral reef!

Pirates and Their Friends

Some pirates brought some friends and their families to their cove and had a party, and then went looking for treasure. But they didn't find anything.

They went again but they didn't find anything.

They went again and they found it.

Then they went back to their ship. They sailed through a storm and the wind whirled. But they got out of the storm.

The captain's parrot almost fell in the water and an eel almost ate him. The captian said, "Dock on any beach!" And to the crew's surprise they docked on Gillagin's Island!
